West Linn's 10A team
won
the Northern Oregon
State Championship
on Sunday and
qualified for the
Northwest Regional
Championships to be
played in Meridian,
Idaho. West Linn
defeated Sandy in
the final, 18-6, its
12th consecutive

defeated by the
10-run rule. Will
Matthiessen threw a
beautiful four
innings on the mound
in the championship
game, played in
searing 99-degree

departed with an
18-0 lead. Tate

Hazel led the
offensive onslaught
with key,
